Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly called out her estranged husband, actor Frederick Leonard, accusing him of delaying their divorce proceedings and carrying on an affair with a married woman.
In a series of explosive posts shared via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning, June 9, Ovire posted a video showing Leonard alongside a woman she claimed is his alleged lover—a married woman with children . She captioned the video with a scathing message, describing the pair as "shameless lots" .
"Married woman o, shameless lots, please don't avoid coming to the customary court June 23rd for the second time," Ovire wrote .
Divorce Delays and Court Absence
The actress alleged that Leonard, who initially requested a divorce, failed to appear in court after being served with legal documents .
"You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn't show up when you were served. Please don't avoid customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd because I'm coming with receipts and let's make this divorce done and dusted. So both of you can finally be together," she stated .
Ovire further accused the actor of being involved with another man's wife, claiming the woman has four children .
"So-called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man's wife with 4 children, you ran to a blogger that I was lying, but when you were served and saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen one out of many, yet refused to show up in court but sent your lawyer," she added .

The video shared by Ovire reportedly shows Frederick Leonard alongside his alleged lover attending comedian Funnybone's recent comedy show in Lagos together . Following the public accusation, social media users quickly identified the woman as Angel Nikky, who has since turned off the comment section on her Instagram page amid the unfolding drama .

Rumors of trouble in the celebrity marriage have circulated for months. The couple, who tied the knot in a highly publicized wedding ceremony in November 2022, were once regarded as one of Nollywood's power couples .
In late 2025, Ovire removed her husband's name from her Instagram profile, fueling speculation that the marriage had ended . Fans had earlier noticed the absence of her wedding ring in videos she posted .
An old clip from their traditional wedding ceremony recently resurfaced online, showing Ovire praising Leonard as a man who "does not womanize" .
