Abuja, Nigeria – The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for various positions across its officer, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant cadres .
The recruitment drive, announced in a notice issued on Thursday, aims to strengthen the Corps' workforce and improve road safety administration and traffic management across the country .

Available Positions and Categories
The recruitment exercise covers three major categories with specific educational requirements :
Officer Cadre
· Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11: Applicants must possess an MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution
· Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) – CONPASS 10/09: Requires degrees in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Law (LLB/BL), or Engineering
· Assistant Route Commander (ARC) – CONPASS 08: Open to B.Sc, BA, or HND holders from recognised institutions. NYSC discharge or exemption certificate required
Marshal Inspectorate Cadre
· Marshal Inspector II & III (MI-II & MI-III) – CONPASS 07/06: Candidates must possess NCE, ND/OND, RN/RM, or CHEW certificates
Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
· Road Marshal Assistant II & III (RMA II & III) – CONPASS 04/03: Minimum of three credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings
· Drivers, Riders & Artisans: Open to candidates with relevant skills in driving, motorcycle riding, mechanics, electrical work, plumbing, tailoring, and other trades. Trade Test certificates and valid driver's licences required where applicable

General Requirements
The FRSC outlined the following requirements for all applicants :
· Nigerian citizenship by birth
· Age limits: Officer Cadre (18–35 years), Marshal Inspectorate (18–30 years), Road Marshal Assistant (16–30 years), Articulated/Tow Truck Drivers (26–40 years)
· Height requirements: Minimum 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females
· Medical fitness: Certificate of Medical Fitness from a government-approved hospital required
· Computer literacy is mandatory for all applicants
· Good character: Must have no criminal record and be free from financial embarrassment
· Valid National Driver's Licence is an added advantage
· Must be single at the time of application
· Applicants must not have tattoos on any part of their body
· Pregnant applicants are advised not to apply
